Clickbank is the 3rd party company that handles the processing of our credit card transactions as well as the affiliate program tracking. (All commission checks are mailed out directly from clickbank). In order to promote The Fit Chic ebook, you must first become a Clickbank affiliate
If you're not yet signed up at clickbank, then setting up your clickbank account is the very first step. Simply click on the link at the bottom of this page that says, "Clickbank Sign up" and a new window will open up that takes you to the clickbank.com signup form.
On the clickbank sign up page, you can fill in your personal details and pick your own special clickbank account name (also called a clickbank "nickname").
After you've set up your clickbank account, then you're ready to start promoting the ebook through your special affiliate hoplinks. When someone purchases after coming through your link, you receive 50% commission on each sale.

Affiliate Hoplink Instructions
Once you have signed up at clickbank for an affiliate account then you are ready to start promoting and marketing the ebook.
Marketing The Fit Chic ebook is simple. All you do is put special links on your webpages or in your newsletters to send traffic to The Fit Chic.Com website. These links are called "CLICKBANK HOPLINKS" and they are important because this is how Clickbank keeps track of the traffic you send to The Fit Chic.com and gives you credit for the e-book sales you generate.
So the very first step after you have signed up for your clickbank account is to understand how to make a hoplink. Keep in mind, if you make your link incorrectly, that is kind of like putting an ad in the yellow pages and using the wrong phone number! (YOU are responsible to make sure your hoplinks are coded correctly!!!! )
Here is how to correctly make your hoplink:
The current standard clickbank hoplink format is:
http://xxxxxxx.vendor.hop.clickbank.net
For The Fit Chic ebook the vendor (product) name, is goose123. So that looks like this:
http://xxxxxxx.goose123.hop.clickbank.net
So now, all you have to do is insert YOUR clickbank affiliate nickname in the place where the x's are located
For example, if your affiliate nickname is scotttous (hint: it's NOT - use YOUR nickname, this is just an example!!!!!), then the hoplink would look like this:
http://scotttous.goose123.hop.clickbank.net
That's all there is to it. When someone clicks through YOUR hoplink, they are redirected to www.thefitchic.com and a "cookie" (a small tracking file) is dropped onto the computer of the visitor. This "marks" that visitor as coming from your referral.
Clickbank uses 60 day cookies, so that means if the people you send to The Fit Chic.com purchase that day or if they return any time within the next 60 days, you will get the commission for the sale (currently 75% commission rate of net sale.)

Affiliate Agreement, Anti-Spam Policy And Earnings Disclaimer

Attention: WE DO NOT TOLERATE SPAM OR AFFILIATE PROGRAM ABUSE IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM! If you break the rules, your clickbank account WILL BE SHUT DOWN AND YOU MAY FORFEIT YOUR EARNINGS!
The Fit Chic Affiliate Program is administered entirely through ClickBank (www.clickbank.com), a third-party affiliate management and payment processing company. The Program is governed by, in addition to this Agreement, ClickBank's Client Contract and all of the rules, regulations and terms of conditions contained therein. In the event of a conflict between ClickBank's Client Contract and this Agreement, this Agreement shall control. ClickBank may collect and use certain information about you, as specified in ClickBank's Privacy Policy. Prior to providing information to ClickBank, you should review their privacy policy. IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND OR DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF CLICKBANK'S PRIVACY POLICY, YOU MUST NOT SIGN UP TO PARTICPATE IN THE PROGRAM.
To enroll in the Program, You must complete, and submit information through, ClickBank's SIGN UP FORM. On that form, you will be asked to choose a ClickBank account name (also known as a ClickBank affiliate "nickname") consisting of 5-10 letters and digits. Your account name will be used in the affiliate hypertext link that tracks all sales attributable to you; ClickBank refers to such affiliate links as "hoplinks," which are further defined in ClickBank's Client Contract. When a prospective customer clicks on your affiliate hoplink, the destination website will be http://www.thefitchic.com.
Commissions
Affiliates will receive 50% of the revenue as a commission from orders placed through properly coded Affiliate links (unless noted otherwise for a particular product), less the charges outlined in the: ClickBank accounting policy page. Commissions may change at the discretion of the product publisher, Scott Tousignant. Commissions may increase during limited time special promotions, but they will return thereafter to the regular 75% commission rate.
For a sale to generate a commission to an Affiliate, the customer must complete the order form and remit full payment for the product ordered through the clickbank secure order system. Word of mouth referrals will not result in an affiliate commission being generated. Commissions will only be paid on sales that are made when the customer clicks through qualified, correctly structured Affiliate links. Properly coded links are the sole responsibility of the affiliate.
The Fit Chic will provide to you various types of media and marketing materials ("Marketing Tools") to assist you in promoting The Fit Chic products. Such Marketing Tools may include text ads, book covers, banner ads, author photos, solo emails, brandable PDFs, sales letters, reviews, articles and other materials. The PDF e-book, The Fit Chic, is protected by a registered copyright, and the Marketing Tools are protected by copyrights, all of which are owned by Scott Tousignant and The Fit Chic.com The Marketing Tools and The Fit Chic copyrights are owned exclusively by Scott Tousignant and The Fit Chic.com, and You gain no ownership or other rights in such Marketing Materials or copyrights.
Email Marketing and Spamming
You hereby acknowledge and agree to abide by the following restrictions regarding email when you engage in affiliate marketing for Company.
Clickbank and TheFitChic.com strictly prohibit its affiliates from using spam e-mail and other forms of Internet abuse (including forum spam and blog spam) to seek sales. Spam is defined as including, but not limited to, the following:
Electronic mail messages addressed to a recipient with whom the sender does not have an existing business or personal relationship or is not sent at the request of, or with the express consent of, the recipient through an opt in subscription;
Messages posted to Usenet, forums and message boards that are off-topic (unrelated to the topic of discussion), cross-posted to unrelated newsgroups, posted in excessive volume, or posted against forum/message board rules. Be conscious of forum rules! If a forum owner or moderator complains that an affiliate has spammed, the affiliate account may be permanently terminated after investigation.
Content posted on free blog websites for the sole purpose of keyword spamming, or comments posted to legitimate blogs that violate the comment policy of the blog owner.
Solicitations posted to chat rooms, or to groups or individuals via Internet Relay Chat or "Instant Messaging" system (such as ICQ);
You may distribute emails solely to those persons who have actively opted-in to receive the email. The content of each email shall include (a) Your correct point-of-origin email address, transmission information and routing information, (b) clear, prominent opt-out instructions in the email and in the first line of the text, if required by applicable law; (c) a telephone number or valid email address at which recipient may contact You to file complaints and/or opt-out; (d) accurate information regarding the manner in which the recipient opted-in to receive the email, (e) a valid postal address for You, and (f) the identifier and any disclaimers that Company assigned to the email. You shall not, without Company's prior written approval, include any redirect links or frames in an email.
Customers
Customers who purchase products and services through the Program are customers of The Fit Chic. The Fit Chic will be solely responsible for processing each and every order for The Fit Chic products, including but not limited to the PDF-Format e-book The Fit Chic. The Fit Chic is solely responsible for all customer service inquiries.
Commissions
The Fit Chic will pay you a commission of 75% of the revenue for each order placed through Your Affiliate Link. ClickBank may deduct from any commission payment amounts as necessary to compensate for transaction costs, customer returns or other charges. All checks will be remitted by ClickBank. For more information, please se ClickBank's Accounting Policy.
Order Fulfillment
TheFitChic.com (via clickbank) will be solely responsible for processing every e-book order placed by a customer on the Affiliate Site. Affiliates are not authorized to collect payments or sell any TheFitChic.com products from other websites as a "reseller" and no "resale" rights are granted in ANY way. Affiliates are not authorized to sell any of these products on ebay or other auction sites Affiliates are not authorized to give away copies of any of these products. TheFitChic.com will also be solely responsible for all customer service inquires. All affiliates understand and acknowledge that no physical products will be shipped. The Fit Chic is a PDF-format e-book, only available through download.
Relationship of the Parties
You and The Fit Chic are independent contractors, and nothing in this Agreement creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative or employment relationship between you and The Fit Chic. You understand that You do not have authority to make or accept any offers or make any representations or warranties on behalf of The Fit Chic or related to The Fit Chic website or the Services.
Program Earnings Disclaimer
Any earnings or income statements or examples mentioned on www.thefitchic.com or in emails sent on behalf of The Fit Chic are only estimates. Where specific income figures are used, and attributed to an individual or business, those persons or business have earned that amount. Any and all claims or representations as to the income earnings of affiliates from The Fit Chic Program, are not to be considered as average earnings. There can be no assurance that any prior successes, or past results, as to the income earnings, can be used as an indication of your future success or results. Making decisions based on any information presented in The Fit Chic products, services, or website, should be done only with the knowledge that you could experience losses, or make no money at all. Use caution and seek the advice of qualified professionals. Check with your accountant, lawyer or professional advisor, before acting on this or any information. YOU AGREE THAT THE FIT CHIC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUCCESS OR FAILURE OF YOUR BUSINESS DECISIONS RELATING TO ANY INFORMATION PRESENTED BY THE FIT BASTARD, OR THE FIT CHIC'S PRODUCTS OR SERVICES.
Limitation of Liability
TheFitChic.com will not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages (or any loss of revenue, profits, expenditures or data) arising in connection with this Agreement or the Program, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Further, our aggregate liability arising with respect to this Agreement and the Program will not exceed the total commissions paid or payable to the affiliate under to this Agreement.
